The design for Fleurs Sauvages draws on the sensations of blooming flowers, the humming of insects, delicate leaves, and cool grass to give the overall impression of a walk in a summer paradise. This set consisting of a Salam Monochrome 4t teapot and two Cafeteria Empileo 25 cl (3 units) tea cups is the perfect gift for tea lovers. The sandstone bodies of the Salam Monochrome and their lacquered stainless steel bells made in our Normandy factory, symbolize the perfect alliance of the know-how of Maison Degrenne. The boxes contain a four-cup Salam Monochrome teapot. The colored products are handcrafted in mass-tinted stoneware. This process can bring slight variations in color reflecting the manual work necessary to make these gift boxes. The teapot body is dishwasher-safe, bell and feet are to be washed by hand.

This teapot is part of the Equus series, one of the most innovative and bold projects of Lladró's Atelier concept. It's the result of a collaboration between the brand and the prestigious designer Bodo Sperlein, based on the concept of recycling parts from other pieces that take on a new and surprising meaning when given another purpose. A fun and innovative offering for lovers of contemporary design.

Inspired by the opera of the same name by Giacomo Puccini, the Turandot decor is an homage to the 18th-century chinoiseries, which already played an important role in the Rosenthal designs of the late 19th century. A lavish farandole of peony blossoms, bamboo, and ginkgo leaves in delicate colors meets golden dragonflies. The background for the poetic porcelain paintings is a white or dark blue background framed by a narrow gold rim. Gianni Cinti tells us that he had the idea for the complex decoration when he remembered a visit to the shore of West Lake in Hangzhou, China. The interweaving of Western and Eastern elements is emphasized by the extension of the collection to include elements of classical Chinese food culture such as rice and soup bowls, porcelain spoons, chopstick holders, and tea caddies.

Cabbage, in its rough and flat form, could be used as a metaphor for Portugal’s rustic ways, which Bordallo had so many times caricatured. This was a clever way to honour it, placing it on the bourgeois’ tables, where other way it had not been invited.
