Taking the next step in creating a Hill Country family of collections, Hooker Furniture has introduced LaGrange. The anthology of a bedroom, living room, dining room, occasional, and home office furniture is inspired by the Hill Country region of Texas, including the town of LaGrange, one of the stops made by the Hooker Furniture design team in search of inspiration. The collection includes heavily distressed oak and hickory surfaces, extensive carving and scrollwork, aged metals, sedimentary stone, and primitive textiles. Each piece has a unique story to tell, while still retaining the authentic American character of the original collection. LaGrange is updated with a fresh new personality, brought to life by four distinctive finishes and modern conveniences for the lifestyles of today.

Exactly as pictured. The tone of the brown is slightly more grey than I was hoping for…doesn’t quite match my room, but with some savvy decorating… The table itself is very sturdy and heavy. If the floor is not even, there are hidden balancing lifts in the base…I wouldn’t have know they were there but fortunately the Perigold delivery guys did a great job unpacking, placing and balancing the table.. Designed around one of the simplest pleasures of home, the Driftwood Round Dining Table creates a natural setting for bringing people together. Its generous round shape comfortably seats up to six, encouraging conversation and connection around the table. An open pedestal base with an interlocking design introduces a sculptural element, while natural knots, worm holes, and a dry distressed surface give the wood the character of a piece shaped gradually by time. Two thoughtfully developed finishes give that character a distinct expression. Buckboard, a light brown finish, captures the quiet warmth of sun faded oak and lends the table a relaxed elegance. Worn Saddle, a warm brown finish, brings the deep, burnished character of supple leather and hand tooled heirlooms. Whether surrounded by family for an everyday meal or set for an evening with friends, the Driftwood Round Dining Table brings a sense of occasion without formality. Over time, it becomes more than a beautiful centerpiece for the dining room, becoming part of the conversations, celebrations, and traditions that give a home its story.
