These rods are really nice and look great. The 4 rather than a 5 is because the the finial is part of the track so the draperies don't stop at the end of the rod but go all the way to the end of the finial. I was having difficulty finding curtain rods that could be used over a patio door where you can't put a center bracket. The cheap ones that are widely available would bend in the center. I also had an issue with rods that would be scratched by the curtain grommets, creating black dust that would get on my curtains. These are stainless steel and strong. No bending, no scratching.
