The grass-cloth cylinders that make up the Maura natural chandelier bring an elevated design statement to the fabric shades on this tan pendant. The metal frame in a satin black finish is a contrasting element to the natural grass cloth shades, which are trimmed for a more sophisticated profile. Though on the surface this design is seriously simple; it is far from it, as the uniformity of the layered shades seen when looking up into the fixture is a precise effort that takes great skill.

Take a trip to the beach with Jamie Beckwith. Her seychelles chandelier, which joins her collection of lighting, was inspired by an island-hopping vibe. The frame is made of wrought iron in a sugar white finish. From this extends hand-cut sprays of raffia that are cinched by three rows of pale hand-strung wood beads.
