Beautiful area rug. Complimented my living room as I envisioned. I was a little disappointed the length was almost 2" less than advertised and the width was 1" less than advertised. No small nuance for a 6'X4' rug. This is disclosed in the description however I didn't notice until I realized the rug was smaller than the measurement and thought to revisit the item description.. I really love this rug, got the 9x6 and it's a good size. However I can already see the gold flaking off with minimal foot traffic. I'm pretty sure I can fix it, but for the price paid I'm a little disappointed. That's really the only downside tho, as it was delivered easily (albeit delayed by 2 weeks) and well packaged. These cow-hide rugs are naturally durable, resistant to liquid, dirt and stains and are easy to clean with occasional light vacuuming with the low suction setting and no spinning bristles or sweep with a clean broom. Spots and spills are no problem, just clean with a damp cloth, being careful not to soak the hide. The rug has a durable felt backing on the complete underside to protect your rug for generations. IMPORTANT NOTE: - Dimensions of each rug may vary slightly (smaller or larger) than the standard sizes shown due to finishing and design scaling. The Oleada is a striking yet free flowing, soft geometric pattern, creating a laid back elegance. Our new lab dipped muted colours for this style inspired by desert succulents and shimmering pools. We have created the Oleada in a stunning oval shape, but ofcourse it can be made in classic rectangles or circles. The Oleada would also work well in many of Art Hide’s other proprietary shades, such as midnight blue or Forrest green.
