The Berkeley Bedroom is made to order in several finishes.

We are pleased with this bed. It seems to be well made. The finish is not at the finest level of high end-furniture, but it seems to be on a par with our expectations. The finish quality did not extend to the routed channel where the vertical rails of the headboard meet the base; in this area the finish is rough, as if caused by overspray. But this is behind the pillows and you would not normally see it. The listing on Wayfair, at least when we ordered it, really need a lot more pictures and close up shots. We had to ask, for example, whether the verticals in the headboard have a square cross-section or round ( they are square). I would have preferred that the antique cherry finish be a bit lighter than the walnut verticals to enhance the contrast, but, as I said, we are sufficiently please. This is an absolutely beautiful piece of furniture. Expensive, but completely worth the cost. To have a piece like this custom-made would have been at least as much, and would take longer. I have other pieces in this collection from Copeland. Made from solid cherry with black walnut drawer pulls and beautifully finished, it is exceptional. Was supposed to be delivered in August but it arrived in July. Very pleased about that, along with the communication from Wayfair. The delivery was spot on--the 2 guys were nice as could be and were right on time. They handled the box carefully, and even carried it back to the bedroom rather than leaving it inside the front door. We had a nice chat and tipped them well! Beautiful solid cherry wood 6 drawer dresser made in Bradford Vermont, by Copeland Furniture in a Natural Finish natural cherry. All drawers are solid wood, dovetail joined & adjustable for closing and all are easily removed by pressing in two clips underneath. We ordered two of these nightstands for our guest room. The cherry wood is really beautiful, and the night stands are very well constructed, and we really like them. The only downside is that the drawer slides don't seem to be very good quality, or perhaps they weren't put on quite right? But the one drawer, on both night stands, "sticks," going both out and in, and doesn't work as smoothly as I would have expected. The rest of the construction seems to be very carefully and professionally done, so I'm surprised that the drawers wouldn't be made to slide in and out easily and well, too.
