I’ve owned the fridge for about 3 weeks and it is a solid upgrade. PROS: It looks great and elevates the look of the kitchen to gourmet. The water/filter quality is top tier and the auto sense fill feature saves time when filling up a glass or a measuring cup. And of course it chills and freezes nicely with features that boost the capability for special circumstances such as installation or recovering from a power outage. CONS. It’s missing a few “normal folks” features that I’ve enjoyed over the years and that I would expect for the cost. 1. It is massive and takes 4-6 people to deliver it; annotate that during delivery or they won’t send enough people to get it off the truck. Also, installation and haul away aren’t included. Be prepared to pay a few hundred extra. 2. The door isn't magnetized - so it won’t hold a magnet. 3. This refrigerator is very stylish. We bought a counter depth.They are smaller but this one is very well appointed. The drawers slide so nice. Has a Deli drawer and a Butter keeper. Which most refrigerators no longer have. Helps to keep everything organized.The freezer has 2 drawers and really nice wire shelves on the door that bend out. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with my new GE Cafe dishwasher, model # CDT858P4VW2 that I recently purchased. The GE Cafe looks great in my kitchen matching the white color of my cabinets and the bronze handle matches my other appliance's handles and the hardware on my cabinets. The dishwasher is very quiet, and does an exceptional job in cleaning my dishes. When the dishwasher completes the wash, the dishes are dry, and the plastic containers are dry and not warped like they were in my old dishwasher. The third upper rack is great for the knives, kitchen utensils and spoon rests. The individual jets for glasses, bottles and mugs is a real winner for cleaning high protein liquids that most dishwashers cannot clean. The nice exterior design looks good in our kitchen, right above a conventional Cafe wall oven. We purchased this oven to replace our previous (almost identical) 240V Advantium Custom Speed Cook oven. We appreciate most of the subtle display firmware/software improvements in the new VS1 design compared with the older NS1 model, which we replaced due to odd rebooting every few weeks. We loved the older model (other than the reboots) and appreciate the new one even more, except for the relatively loud alert sound when we open the door to check the temperature of something we are cooking.
