Elixir is a casual contemporary collection that, as its name implies, exudes a feeling of comfort, simplicity, and well-being. While Elixir has crisp, clean lines, character and visual interest are also achieved through the use of texture. Textural interest comes from the use of lightly sand-blasted walnut veneer, the light texture applied to the metal elements with a hand-carved texture added to the surface of select pieces such as the oval mirror and the round dining table. The buffet offers a beautiful carved starburst pattern on the doors.

The bed boldly contrasts a vintage natural finish over hickory veneers on the borders and side rails with a crosshatch texture on the headboard and footboard in a furrowed bark finish. The natural beauty and the mystical experience of the American wilderness inspires a spirited collection from Hooker Furniture, a celebration of dramatic vistas and the freedom to roam, a land of rough-hewn timber and towering snow-capped peaks, boundless plains, cool, clear mountain lakes. Hooker brings home a dream of wide-open spaces and a life lived in tandem with iconic landscapes with furnishings that evoke the weight, heft, and heritage of post and beam construction, the mark and artistry of true craftspeople, and substantive, thoughtful designs right for today.
