Very sleek, arms are low, so easy for under the table, also metallic gold is a little more gold than I thought it would be. I like it. The chair is very firm, comfortable. These are beautiful chairs. Came fully assembled. Comfortable. I took off one star because the top square corners started having small chips that became white and also on some legs too. I was very upset as I had had them two weeks, and they were very expensive. I had agonized over spending that much and expected perfect quality. Maybe they were damaged in shipment. Great Room collection featuring New Traditional to Transitional original designs dressed in a natural white oak finish with light wire brushing and a silky, dry hand and appearance. Accent materials include Italian Carrara marble, natural seagrass, iron, and nature-form castings of Brazilian slate finished in champagne bronze. The term New Traditional is overused and typically undefined. To us, it means taking forms that have existed for many generations and interpreting them into the present as fresh and versatile designs with textural, on-trend finishes and materials...Simpatico represents exactly that.

I purchased four of these chairs to complement a 48" round table I purchased at a prestige store. Everyone who has seen them loves them and is amazed they were purchased from different vendors.
