Following his interest in tradition and good food, Virgil Abloh designed Conversational Objects as "toolsets for the dining table". With its garage-inspired design, the Conversational Objects 16-piece cutlery set and cutlery holder are meant to encourage conversation and conviviality at the dining table. This set, produced in matt-finish stainless steel, is paired with a cutlery holder, with a similarly opaque finish to resemble a threaded bolt.

The 9091 kettle has a melodic whistle made of brass in a shape that has never been seen before and consists of two small vents in which the tuners that reproduce the notes mi and si are inserted. Richard Sapper created this kettle inspired by a childhood remembrance, the poetic sound of boats' sirens at the River Rhine: This is because the melody that accompanies the vapor outlet must be pleasant and not anxious like the whistle of boilers. This induction kettle is a polysensory object that will not interrupt an enjoyable break with a whistle but with a captivating melody.
This is a very beautiful looking kettle, except for the bottom connection to the base should have been a different material Because one mistake with the flame to high it started melting. Can that be correct. Thank you…. Roxanne. Brooklyn, NY. Wed Apr 05 2023

Designed by Michel Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui. The designers drew their inspiration from their home, Casa Boucquillon: A place for experimentation, meditation, and work where they live in sync with nature. The perforated pattern of the “Bark” range recalls the bark on the trees around the house. The press filter coffee maker allows the preparation of coffee with a particular taste, ideal for those who appreciate brewed coffee that is long but intense.

Presented in 2015, the Pulcina Espresso Coffee Maker won over the public with its evocative design and high performance. In the black version, light plays across the unique stepped shape. Designed by Michele De Lucchi, Pulcina contains a small but revolutionary innovation that enhances the full-bodied taste of coffee. It is dedicated to those who do not want to renounce the taste and aroma of coffee offered by an espresso coffee machine, but want to experience this daily ritual in a special way.
It's really kinda sad that service that should be the norm sticks out as extraordinary. Veni, vedi, vice, I saw, I ordered, I received, not that complicated. It was a pleasure. I am now the proud owner of an aluminum chicken. What more could one want, I ask you?. Mark Joseph. Fri Jun 03 2022

The product and presented for the first time to the public at the "La Tavola apparecchiata" ("The set table") exhibition at the WW's exhibition space in Neustifgasse 32 in Vienna, this cutlery was produced by hand in silver and silver plate until 1910-12. The service, which was in dotazione anche al Cabaret Fledermaus, fully reflects the search for functionality combined with extreme formal elegance and refined working of materials that are so typical of the Wiener Werkstatt. And if some contemporaries had reservations on the practicality of some of the pieces (the transversal concavity of the tablespoon was a controversial point), these were quickly dispelled by those who actually used them. Made in 18/10 stainless steel, the cutlery was reissued by Alessi in 2000.

This is not only a napkin holder but a piece of art. It still look good when it's left emptied. I subtracted 1 star because we have to get an 8"x8" (not a common size) napkin in order for it to look good in the tray. We are lucky enough to have an Ikea near by which they sell 8"x8" napkin so we usually stock up.. Wendy. Arcadia, CA. Thu Mar 10 2016

The "Parisienne" cocktail shaker is reinterpreted by Giulio Iacchetti, defining a new and surprising standard for ergonomics. As evocative of tradition as it is innovative in design, the sinuous line of this shaker is an incarnation of practicality, presented in a form that is as refined as it is understated.

La Stanza dello Scirocco is a range of items suitable for different rooms, such as the kitchen and the living room born out of the abstract and motionless atmosphere of a magic place: The room in large Sicilian country homes where one is forced to seek shelter from the sultriness while waiting for the scirocco to die down. The upshot is a collection of geometrically irregular items made up of small splinters of various sizes, interlaced in an unstable balance.

For collectors of Alessandro Mendini and of his quick-change corkscrews: Alessandro M. Galla Placidia, embellished by Mendini’s historic decoration that enhances its delicate design. The attraction of the lights, colors, and mosaic vaults of the small mausoleum in Ravenna dedicated to the Roman empress Galla Placidia has inspired this iridescent play of shapes and colors, striking for the rigor of its geometries in contrast to its vivid and dreamy hues.

The classic kitchen jar was reinterpreted by designer Mattia Di Rosa: rather than on the outside, the design here is to be found on the inside. With a strong pinch of irony, Di Rosa has created Gianni, the little man that clings to the lid. The hermetic jar is suddenly so much fun that you won't want to fill it.
