The classic kitchen jar was reinterpreted by designer Mattia Di Rosa: rather than on the outside, the design here is to be found on the inside. With a strong pinch of irony, Di Rosa has created Gianni, the little man that clings to the lid. The hermetic jar is suddenly so much fun that you won't want to fill it.

La Stanza Dello Scirocco” is a range of items suitable for different rooms, such as the kitchen and the living room born out of the abstract and motionless atmosphere of a magic place: the room in large Sicilian country homes where one is forced to seek shelter from the sultriness while waiting for the scirocco to die down. The upshot is a collection of geometrically irregular items made up of small splinters of various sizes, interlaced in an unstable balance.

Following his interest in tradition and good food, Virgil Abloh designed Conversational Objects as "toolsets for the dining table". With its garage-inspired design, the Conversational Objects 16-piece cutlery set and cutlery holder are meant to encourage conversation and conviviality at the dining table. This set, produced in matt-finish stainless steel, is paired with a cutlery holder, with a similarly opaque finish to resemble a threaded bolt.

A technical designer par excellence, he has industrial design in his DNA and a capacity to understand public sentiment like no other designer mentioned in this catalog. His projects began with the Girotondo (1989, designed by Guido Venturini) and the first transparent plastic objects from the Family Follows Fiction series (1993). There is a vast number of his items in the Officina Alessi, Alessi, and A di Alessi catalogs.

Inspired by the weightlessness of marine life, this collection's extraordinary success in 2006 prompted the manufacturer to explore expanding the icon into new product categories.
This is not only a napkin holder but a piece of art. It still look good when it's left emptied. I subtracted 1 star because we have to get an 8"x8" (not a common size) napkin in order for it to look good in the tray. We are lucky enough to have an Ikea near by which they sell 8"x8" napkin so we usually stock up.. Wendy. Arcadia, CA. Thu Mar 10 2016

The form reflects function in Stefano Giovannoni’s Mary Biscuit biscuit box. Its evocative power doesn't stop at its soft, rounded shape, but also involves our senses of touch and smell: the box is made of translucent material with a lovely feel and the lid has a delicate aroma of butter cookies.
I have had this cookie jar in the crosshairs for quite some time, and I finally pulled the trigger. I am not disappointed. My husband loves it. It holds a large cache of cookies, keeping them fresh as Day One. And it's easy to open and close for Cookie Monsters who are in a hurry. I have always been a big fan of Alessi. The company makes high-quality things that are practical and friendly. This cookie jar is no exception. Five twinkling stars from this rater!. Karin. Columbia, SC. Thu Feb 20 2014

The Birillo family of bathroom objects is designed by Piero Lissoni. The balance between the minimal shape and the used materials is the main characteristic of this project. The entire range of products is minimal and essential thanks to its rectangular shape and very well finished with its rounded edges. The objects are simple but never dull. The bathroom wastepaper bin, made of thick PMMA thermoplastic material with a white mirrored finish, is equipped with a swing-top lid with a counterweight inserted in the inner part to guarantee the position of the horizontal closure.

An avant-garde icon of revolutionary kitchenware, the Juicy Salif citrus squeezer—designed by Philippe Starck—transcends utility to become a sculptural masterpiece. Crafted from mirror-polished, durable aluminum, its biomorphic, spider-like legs provide an elevated clearance, allowing juice to flow directly into a glass placed beneath its tapered core. This unforgettable form was famously conceived by Starck on a pizzeria napkin during a seaside holiday in Italy, capturing a moment of pure, spontaneous genius. As much a centerpiece of modern art as it is a functional tool for lemons and limes, the Juicy Salif remains a provocative anchor for the contemporary kitchen.

Adam Cornish's intention is to reproduce the appearance of a natural element through the modern processes of industrial production. Due to its perforated structure and large size, “Trinity” may be used not only as a centerpiece but also as an elegant fruit bowl.

Just rub the steel soap on your hands for a few seconds under cold running water and they will be left smooth and odour-free. It is designed by Frédéric Gooris with the advice of Fabrice Leclerc.
