The Villa Limone urn is meticulously crafted from Italian terracotta clay. Artisans hand-pack the clay into a mold through a process called calco. Each mold is then left to dry for 2-3 days, during which the clay naturally shrinks, making it easy to remove the mold. The urn is then transferred to a kiln and fired at 950 degrees, resulting in a beautiful piece that can grace your space both indoors and outdoors, bringing timeless elegance to any setting.

While the high firing temperature and quality of their glazed and terra cotta containers result in a durable and frost-resistant product, we still recommend that they are stored in a frost-free covered area in winter. If left outside, water may accumulate in the container and freeze, causing the planter to crack and break. Planters that must be left outside should be covered to prevent water, snow, and ice from accumulating inside the planter. The tile is gorgeous! My one issue is that the sample I received did not have imperfections but then when I received the 75 square feet of tile there were 35% had an aging look perhaps that I don’t love. We tried to intermingle these ones so they are not as noticeable. The first picture is the sample I received, the second picture is a close up of one of the “aged” tiles and the final is the outdoor shower in progress.. Jeannine. Costa Mesa, CA. Wed May 20 2026
