Inspired by the Putney lamp, we created a large-scale version. From each direction, its silhouette reveals three stacked rounded forms—a cylinder, a disc, and an elongated tapered coin base. Showcasing angular composition and balance, it has a mid-century feel with an updated take on the style via its cast aluminum. It is topped with an off-white linen shade with off-white cotton lining, and features a clear silver cord and three-way rotary switch. The finish will vary.

The bases of the Tortoise drum lamps are constructed of thick sheet iron. Once completed, they are given an acid bath which produces a random, pitted texture in the metal which is enhanced by the antique brass finish.
