This frameless sliding shower door met all of our expectations and was exactly what we envisioned to complete our shower. The glass and hardware are heavy-duty, well-made, and give the bathroom a clean, high-end look. The door slides effortlessly and smoothly, and the installation instructions were clear and easy to follow. While the brushed bronze finish isn’t an exact match to Delta’s champagne bronze fixtures, it’s very close and blends in nicely. One tip for installation we used the cardboard packaging it came in to protect the glass while installing it in the shower, which worked perfectly to help prevent scratches or accidental damage. Choosing items for our bath renovation was a long, tedious process. Finding a fluted glass door for our shower was the hardest piece of all. Most vendors that sell these charge outrageous prices, or they didn't not have the configuration or brass finish and slider at the top that I was looking for. In the end, I decided to take a chance on the Galaxy brand and hope for the best. The door itself is gorgeous... the glass is thick and the quality is definitely there. I was enamored the minute that we got it out of the packaging. There is one issue that we had with the doors after install. The ribbing on the door that slides made contact with the guide as it slid, and it made a rattling noise. I think that if the rubbing continued to happen, over a period of time, the glass would have worn down in that spot. We contacted the manufacturer and they sent us a plastic sleeve for the bottom of the door to ensure the noise wouldn't occur. That solved it. WARNING!!!!!!!!!! Important UPDATE! - DO NOT Purchase this Sliding Shower Door! On 2/7/2025, a horrific accident occurred in my home involving this product: the sliding glass door shattered and injured my 14-year-old granddaughter while she was taking a shower; she was rushed by ambulance to the nearest Emergency Room. I have attached pictures to alert potential customers of the dangers. This was an extremely traumatic ordeal for my family. I contacted Wayfair to notify the company of the incident on 2/8/2025, I was assured that someone would contact me within 5 business days and was given an apology. On 2/13/2025, I contacted the company again since no one had reached out to me, and I spoke to Mitch C, who once again apologized and promised that someone from Wayfair’s Claims department would contact me in 5 business days, he followed up with an email with his phone number if I had any questions or didn’t hear back from the claims department. On 2/21/2025, I still had not heard back from anyone at Wayfair so I called once again and spoke to Mitch C, However, this time he seemed annoyed that I was contacting he asked why I hadn’t sent an email to the claims department and that he would once again “help me” and “expedite” my complaint to the correct department for resolve. Recently remodeled my guest bathroom. This shower door worked perfectly. It was exactly as the description described. The installer didn't encounter any issues installing it. It was good quality and a great value for the price I paid.
