I'm pleasantly surprised at the qualify of the wood. I like the color and how the grain looks. All hinges are soft-close. The countertop is great as well. I'm planning to install a water filter underneath the sink and the old school space underneath (i.e. not partitioned with pull out drawers etc) has enough space to accommodate that.. Anonymous. I have had this vanity for a year and a half and I can confidently say it is a well made piece of furniture. This is not a big box store. mass produced vanity.
