I was really excited to find this table online, as I had been searching for a game/puzzle table of fine quality. The price was more than I intended to pay, but I decided to take a chance and purchase it with a Perigold credit card. When my table arrived, it was much darker than the photo, it was labeled "Made in Viet Nam", which was unexpected, and to top it off, there was a large deep scratch on the top. In addition, the drawers don't really open and close smoothly, they wiggle from side to side. It is a very solid table and I love the design. But, needless to say, overall I was disappointed -- it looked so much more beautiful in the (2) photos on the website, and the price led me to believe that I was getting a really high quality piece of American made furniture. The top is very nice, though much darker, but the wood underneath is cheaper. I feel that there is quite a difference between your "high end" marketing/look and the actual quality of the product. However, when I called customer service, I was assisted by a very helpful representative, and have been offered a new table. I will use and enjoy it, but am not sure I would buy from Perigold again, not sure it would be worth the money.
