Well since Vitamix had such bad reviews for their personal blender cup set that was usable with the regular size blender I was so excited to see they just came out with this. Well I just opened this and used it for the first time and I have to say I wasn't blown away. With designers who are at the top in their field a much better design could have been accomplished. The cord is huge ugly and black so when you buy a white one you still have all that black sitting on your white quartz counters. There should have been some kind of cord storage built in and a white cord should have been used. Second around the top of the blender and the knob there are ridges going all the way around. It is going to be a royal pain to keep that clean. Third the way this closes with the gasket is confusing. More details about this should go into the instruction booklet with better photos. Also after every use you are going to have to remove the gasket to rinse it off and the gasket has 4 ridges that are going to be really painful to keep clean. They should include 'at least' 10 extra gaskets because with washing and having to tighten it so tight to get the line lined up with the lock they are going to wear it out very soon. I cannot comment yet on how well it blends because I just made a very small portion of banana with milk so it is not a true test. I just was so disappointed with these design flaws I never used it again and returned it so I cannot comment on how well it works. I hope when they come out with an updated version they fix these flaws and then I would buy it. I took some photos next to my 5200 that does come with cord storage.

It is so easy to use, I love that once I blend it I don’t have to pour into a cup (can be messy). All I do is add the ingredients I desire in the cup add your desired beverage screw the rotater top onto the cup flip it into the base and turn the nob to start blending…… It doesn’t take long for it to fully blend and easy to clean up and store away in a small corner……. #Vitamix #influenster

It has a mode where it detects what’s inside the blender and blends for you on the speed and timing for whatever you’re making to make a smoother more satisfying smoothie.
