Small flowers cover this one instead of large ones, and the difference is real: the pattern reads as fine and allover rather than bold, closer to antique porcelain than to a statement piece. Shaped as a ginger jar in lightweight glass and hand painted in Italy, the Ornaments Figural Ginger Jar with Small Flowers Ornament carries the blue and white palette that has stood for tradition in ceramics for centuries. Each is painted by hand, so no two are precisely the same. Made for decorative use, it is a handmade Italian Christmas ornament that layers well with the other blue and white pieces in the collection. Hang a pair on either side of the tree, or give one as a small, considered gift.
