Few motifs say blue and white as immediately as the ginger jar, and this ornament puts a row of them on your tree. Hand painted in Italy onto lightweight glass, the Ornaments Blue and White Ginger Jars Ornament carries delicate flower designs rendered one brushstroke at a time, which is why the detail differs a little from ornament to ornament. The low weight means it hangs anywhere, not just on the sturdy interior branches. Made for decorative use, it is a handmade Italian Christmas ornament for a chinoiserie-leaning room where blue and white already runs through the shelves. Give it to the friend whose living room is full of jars, or build a whole tree around a set of them.
