With age, the patina turns to an elegant silver tone. Regularly oiling the teak will cause it to retain its original color longer. Most prefer the teak to age naturally. The teak can be cleaned with mild soap and water. Teak surfaces should never be pressure washed. Premium teak oil can be purchased at a home improvement store or a marine supply store.
