I was on the fence about this protector before receiving. I have always used a mattress pad, but with my new mattress I was sleeping consistently hotter than usual. Well I called where I purchased my mattress and they explained most pads are made with fiber fill and that retains heat not allowing the mattress to breath. So I researched my mattress brand and got same answers. I found the Tempur Breeze protector to be the most mentioned. Yes the price did scare me I had just spent quite a bit on the mattress and now another 300. Well I did it and do not regret one minute. I sleep cooler and more comfortable. And yes it is water proof I tested it to see. Wayfair had the best price overall plus I had a little reward from where I had purchased something else a while back so that made the sting a little easier and if you need the 6 months to pay then that’s no brainer.

Its a basic waterproof mattress pad that does the job. No frills and covers the mattress with clean lines.
