• Ceramic tables are handmade and no two are 100% identical
• No extra maintenance is required
• Handmade with Variation: 100% crafted by hand from multiple production stages. No two pieces will ever be exactly alike.
• Natural Materials: Our ceramics are made with natural earthen clay. This clay is delicately formed to remove air bubbles and visible foreign substances before being shaped and placed into plaster of paris molds.
• Naturally Cured: After forming into molds, our ceramics are dried for 1-2 weeks to prepare for glazing and firing.
• Firing: Once the clay has reached a level of dryness and firmness, the newly formed clay item undergoes its first firing in a special clay oven (gas kiln). Once the product cools and has been inspected for flaws, chips or cracks it moves onto glazing.
• Glazing and Final Firing: Our European glazes are safe for every day decorative use. These glazes are created to allow for bright jewel-like colors to shine through and avoid most traditional muddy glaze finishes. The glazes are applied by hand by a glazing specialist. The glaze then needs time to dry and be prepared for final firing.
• These items are handmade, so dimensional information is approximate; please notify us at the time of order if you have specific size requirements. We reserve the right (at any time) to change, modify, or alter any part of this product, including but not limited to the glaze, to improve overall quality. Our handmade ceramic products can be adapted and refined according to the different shapes and dimensions available. Each product is a unique handmade item, as such, you should expect variations in glaze finishes. Glazes may show irregularities in the colors and the surface due to the handmade work. Characters cannot be perfect (read more about this collection in the "About Our Ceramics" section or contact customer service for a copy of this document). Pictures, ceramic samples, and descriptions are purely indicative. Protect all ceramic items, especially matte-finished items, from severe freezing conditions.
