We've been using it as an accent light to liven up our living room in the evenings for our kids. The different color combinations can be used to create different moods and it's a fun addition to make the cold winter days pass a little easier for everyone. I like that there is a lot of function here for us. We can use them now as fun lights, and during the holidays can use them for their intended purpose. The cord is long enough to reach out banister to and the length of lights is a great size to be usable but not unwieldy. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a nice light set to add some charm.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was time to start upgrading our Christmas lights. I was not sure what to expect with these, but they are great. They come preprogrammed with some designs, but you can download the app and program more. Keep in mind the app looks a little different than the instruction book says, but that is because it gets updated more often. The app is really user friendly. I was able to change these lights in all sorts of different designs. The globes do seem a little cheap, so I am not sure how they will handle the outside. They do have holes in the tips to make sure the moisture goes out of them. I can't wait until next year to use them!
