The chest looked beautiful... until we opened the lid and it split. It’s completely destroyed. I’m at a loss for words.

Lovely, easy to put together. I recommend unboxing outdoors and cleaning/oiling before assembly. I'm using this indoors as a blanket chest/side table, and it looks great paired with other similarly styled wood furniture.

I first received an incorrect item, but I eventually received the correct item and I am very happy with my purchase. We are using it as a wood storage box for wood stove. It is smart looking and very functional.
