The lock was professionally installed but does not line up properly. The design seems flawed. Will probably have to get a new door knob

I tried these and really wanted them to work. Mfg was helpful but had to buy parts and more bucks were spent. Very expensive not to work. Used them on 9 doors in our home, but after them tearing up constantly and people getting locked into rooms, handles breaking etc., removed them all and bought new knobs. Really wanted them to work, but way too expensive for my experience of failure. Would not recommend. The parts I kept having to order were charged for even though these were new.
