The walnut mantel shelf exceeded my expectations in every way and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for this type of mantel. It arrived very quickly, was packaged well and was in flawless condition. The quality of the product's walnut, finish and grain was excellent and it impressed all, including my contractor who is a cabinet maker. I intend to add photos after my fireplace has been completed.

I would give 5 stars with its simple elegance however, the wood is beginning to crack. I am in a new home . It was hung in December and have used the fireplace a few times. It started with one crack and now there are two. I just submitted to Perigold . A replacement would be great .
