Wish it was more like the picture advertised but still cute

My cat-crazy daughter loves this lamp. I don't think she's turned it off since it arrived. Which leads to the one problem I have with it - it gets very, very hot. It has no top ventilation, and not much on the bottom either. We are using LED bulbs with it, and have placed it on a small trivet to increase air circulation, so it's ok, but it would be nice if they put in some vent holes in the top or something.

He sits in the hallway on a small console table with all my other cats. He is georgious!
