For the ultimate chess-playing experience, we have developed a chess set that is larger than life! Standing at 16 inches tall the pieces included in this set are designed to be indestructible, making them perfect for almost any setting. The pieces are very light, weighing about 9 to 17 ounces each, which enables them to be easily moved by young children. Make them heavier by simply drilling a hole at the bottom of each piece, filling it with fine sand, and seal with adhesive. These pieces are designed to withstand the most extreme weather conditions. We have set in the heat of the Middle East and the cold of the Rocky Mountains. The 12" Giant Plastic Chess Set with Plastic Board is an excellent board for permanent installations. Extra-large pieces made of rugged, waterproof, plastic; resist staining and fading. Big enough to be more fun than average-size chess sets, but still portable. Great for beginners or masters!
