I love these placemats. They came inside a box and then in another slimmer box that I can use to store them in until winter. The size is just right and the colors are vibrant and clear. Something I would not have thought about but there is a warning on the box that they are made with paper and must be careful around candles. They might not wash very well since they are partly made of paper but will be nice to set a festive table with until they look stained or worn.

I was not expecting these to be so nice, they are made with a heavy hardwood., shown on back. The design on the top is a lovely cardinal, for any season. It can be used for a dinner party or any event. 4 in a pack, very well packaged.

These placmats are beatiful and well made. After my dad passed away i started seeing alot of cardinals so this really reminds me how much he loved birds. we will be using them this Christmas for our dinner.
