My unit failed after about 8 years and it was for a shower used occasionally. When I read the other reviews I realized this is a common problem. Unfortunately when you install such a temperature controller you are stuck with it. Hence don’t buy if you are considering this as a new installation. If you are like me, buy it on special and hope Kohler fixed the longevity issue.

This rough-in valve goes with many of the Kohler DTV digital controllers. Arrived on time, waiting to install.

this part is hard to locate. I’ve been working with a local vendor on a bathroom buildout. She couldn’t get it from Kohler and one call to Wayfair and I had it within a few days! BOOM.
