I needed this because the handheld shower was installed too high and I couldn't reach it. Now I don't have to stand on the side of the tub to reach it. I had a plumber install it because I didn't want to take a chance on cracking the tile but I think it's a matter of the right drill bit.

Great quality and weight. Wish it had longer options

Nothing too fancy-schmancy about this bar: it's pretty solid and anchors well into the wall. The finish (matte black) is solid with no imperfections out of the box. The holder is smaller than what I would expect to hold a handheld shower head, which will require purchasing a new head to fit the holder.

This side bar was used to replace an old one. We needed something that would be able to work with the existing holes so we wouldn’t have to drill tile or cover up old holes, and this was perfect. It adjusted to exactly the right length and went in so easily we were kind of shocked. DIY projects don’t go this well in out past experience! Style is sharp and contemporary. Highly recommend.
