Don’t waste your money. The battery has to charge separately - so there’s no way to use this plugged in. But, fine, it is a battery blender. Unfortunately it can’t blend much. We bought this for our protein shakes and it can’t handle a few pieces of ice. I just left it practically smoking on our counter after it tried its hardest - and now my kitchen smells like burnt plastic.

I was a little worried about buying this blender. I've bought a battery powered blender before but a different brand and it couldn't get it's way out of a wet paper bag. And after about 3 uses it was dead. (and the dead 1 cost more too) So see why I was worried? Took a chance; I can't believe the power the Kitchen Aid has. I love the Kitchen Aid brand blender. So glad I bought this one. I made protein shake with, pineapple, powder protein, ice, milk. It was quicker then my big blender. I plan on taking this blender camping with me and use in my home too of course. It has power! Love it. I see many uses for this blender.

DIt didn't make it a year and the motor locked up without warning. I liked the product up until that point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE all the KitchenAid Go Cordless products. I work in the garage as much as I work in the kitchen. I've been waiting for many years for good, quality, battery-operated kitchen appliances ... and now I have them!! The blender works well. It is more than adequately powered, and not nearly as loud as my Ninja. I would suggest KitchenAid redesign the blades slightly so that it is less chop and more stir, thereby pulling the smoothie mix down. Otherwise ... especially for thicker drinks ... you'll have to remove the cup, shake it, and reinstall it multiple times ... or simply drink more liquidy smoothies. This is merely a suggestion for improvement, not a criticism of performance. Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice size when traveling. It’s easy to wash, battery lasts about 20 uses (making a smoothie once a day. There is one issue. You must press down hard to remove the container otherwise the container unscrews and the liquid drips into the base. I found an unusual solution. I turn the device with the container on the bottom and the motor is on top. I can then easily press down (due to weight of motor), remove the motor and there’s no leakage from the container into the motor. It’s not ideal but does work consistently.
