I bought these silicone beaters December 2024 and I absolutely love them until the silicone started coming off in pieces!! I do not put them in the dishwasher so that is not the cause of it coming off. Wish they would stand up longer than that!

I have had these beaters since February 2024. Since that time I have used them very seldom. This past Sunday, December 21, 2025, I made Christmas cookie dough to make cutout cookies. As the I added flour to the creamed butter and sugar, the black coating on the beaters started peeling off.

Bought these with my new hand mixer about a year ago and just noticed the silicone was peeling off after going through the dishwasher. I thought these were dishwasher safe?

This flex edge beater accessory improves mixing efficiency by combining standard beating action with a built-in bowl-scraping edge. As it rotates, the flexible side continuously sweeps the bowl, helping pull ingredients back into the mix and reducing the need to stop and scrape manually. The result is more consistent blending when preparing batters, cookie doughs, frostings, mashed ingredients, and other common recipes. By keeping ingredients moving evenly throughout the bowl, the beater helps minimize unmixed pockets and supports smoother textures across a wide range of baking and cooking tasks. Installation is straightforward, allowing you to upgrade your compatible hand mixer quickly without altering your workflow. The attachment’s durable construction is intended for frequent use, making it a practical addition for home bakers who value efficiency and consistency. Easy to remove and clean after use, this flex edge beater streamlines everyday mixing and helps reduce prep time while delivering reliable, repeatable results.
