This is a pretty ceramic mixing bowl. Unfortunately the color is not really an aqua, just pale blue, so it does not coordinate well with my mixer in the color Ice. I wish the stainless bowl had a spout like this one, which is the the main reason I wanted another bowl. Its also heavy, so if my arthritis is giving me trouble, it is difficult to hold up and scrape out dough or batter. It does have the same base as the stainless, so it locks securely. The pour shield does not fit, though. It is just a tiny bit too wide so only 2 of the 3 guides fit on the outside of the rim.
