Hello, I decided to upgrade my toaster. It was s4 slice kitchen aid. I’ve recently used it for toast. This time I decided to put a pastry like pop- tart. Well when the poptart pops up it slides through the bottom piece of the toaster that holds your food. Then you have to dig it out. The bottom tray is underneath and you can’t just open it up and let the pop-tart come out. This has happened several times. I also am having problems with the thermostat ( burning the food). Now I tell you all these things to make you aware before you make a purchase. I didn’t use the toaster right when I bought it. and now I’m out of the return window. My youngest daughter absolutely loved it because she has limited counter space. She also loved the fact that she can toast bagels in it also. She was surprised that there was a skinny toaster made for limited space and loved the fact that it was red which is her kitchen color for appliances

Goes perfect in my black kitchen. Toaster works great!
