They are durable and I like that they are waterproof, in case of any spills while eating. I didn't really care for the shape of them, prefer rectangle mats. Once nice this oss that out a set of 6 and not 4 just in case of a larger table. I used these at my mom's because she had a larger table and it worked out very well. I'd buy this brand again but only in a different shape.

They look to be easy wipe clean and still have durability to withstand plates and daily cleaning. They seem fancy enough to use for special occasions, but I love them just for daily place settings to upgrade our simple dining table!
