The butcher block arrived chipped and scratched in several places. I placed a call to Perigold and have not received a call back. The wood weighs A LOT so not something we can place in a little box and return.

I was incredibly disappointed with this purchase. Although ordered as a complete unit, I received just the base today. It was not as represented. The legs did not extend beyond the shelf so the shelf sat on the floor. The stainless was scraped and scratched and the welding at the join of the top was beaded and exposed. The delivery driver could not take the item immediately back so when I called Perigold to solve the return they advised me to KEEP or DISPOSE of the item and credited my account. I expected far better quality from John Boos.

Nice base first one was bent and wayfair sent another immediately.

I bought it with the stand with casters--it is awesome. worth the price.

Very deceiving photo. I thought I had purchased the top and table. I now have to buy the table separately and will be forced to pay over $500 in shipping costs. Not happy.
