Defective design. The board which mounts the hinge failed after six weeks. Requesting refund from Wayfair.

This is an excellent Deck Box. However the assembly instruction's position on the hook up of what you call 'the hydraulic hinge' is wrong as it is also in you promotional picture. The hook up in my box was right under the lid not towards the middle of the sidewall....Please correct that because it can be rather confusing. Again, great product with a flaw in the instruction sheet.

Easy to put together (4 pieces). Looks beautiful and works very well. Slow-closing hinge ensures no one gets clunked on their head. On the more expensive side for these types of boxes but the quality teak wood makes it worth it. Excellent product!

Beautiful wood. well designed and well built-once we assembled. Easy assembly. I love it. And deck cushions stay dry in wet weather.
