Item was in great condition after unboxing and it was packaged well. So far it looks good and is in my house. I’ll be installing it this weekend to see how it performs.

HPWH is easy to use and consume little power. Not very noisy, can't hear it in house, but definitely would bother me if my office were in the garage. Keeps water warm overnight without using any power (or very very little). Concern is the durability of the anode rod - within two weeks, it is down to 98%. Also the app is not well built, works but has bugs. The 1st 2 tanks delivered were dented, the 3rd tank is good!

We had another brand that failed after about 2 years. We bought this as a replacement. Just installed - so far working well and cooling our garage as expected. Fairly quiet but all of these units produce noise. The only downside - the exhaust fan blows toward the back of the unit. Our unit is located in the corner of our garage, and if installed in the normal direction the cold air would be blowing at the wall which seems not ideal for efficiency. Therefore we installed the unit backwards with the controls facing the wall and the exhaust fan facing out. It works, but seems like not an ideal design as most units will be against a wall.
