Great patina on this even though it's new. It matches our 100 year old aged copper knobs and faceplates quite well, especially because it isn't a perfectly uniform look. The only caution is that we have to notch into the wood door frame to use it with a door since the frame and the door are not flush when closed (as most aren't). It's a good solution for antique doors without working keys/locks though and quite sturdy.
