Sturdy-easy to assemble-holds a lot of logs-about 15 split logs. The back is a couple of inches higher.

This is a VERY nice wood holder. My husband and I both agreed that it is very nice. (which doesn't happen very often) Keeps you from having to go outside every time the fire needs wood. Also looks very nice sitting in our living room. I have a metal boot tray ordered to sit underneath it to catch the debris from the wood. Pros: Well built, great addition to any room
