I had great hopes for this beautifully carved "shiny" brass eagle when I went searching for one to place on the exterior wall of my house. It arrived looking all gleaming and promising and I eagerly paid someone to put it up for me. It looked so beautiful up there, right smack in the upper middle. After a few months up there, I noticed that it started to LOSE it's shine, and as time went on, it got darker and darker! It is still up there....., but it is VERY darken now and I am again searching for a version that will NOT become weather beaten, will NOT lose it's shine, and will forever GLEAM and illuminate the exterior beauty of the place I call home.

It looks great on my house.

I have a barn that we decorate the one side wall with all my favorite things. I hung this above a primitive flag made from old barn wood it sets it off perfectly. It is very well made and I am so pleased with my purchase.

I purchased this bald eagle because we have bald eagles in our community and  it goes so well with the metal crab that I also purchased from Wayfare
