This table is amazing! Large, sturdy, easy to assemble and handles the weather beautifully.
Rated 5 out of 5 stars.
Beautiful and sturdy piece of furniture that was easy to assemble. It was shipped with what looked like 4 extra shorter legs, not sure if those were shipped accidentally but that was the only point of confusion. The table is sleek, great quality, and couldn't be more excited for it!

Natural Teak
Natural Teak
Let™s talk about the teak a deciduous hardwood tree from the highlands of southeast Asia. It does not come from tropical rainforests. Teakwood has a naturally high oil content which makes it both stable and resistant to rotting when exposed to climatic extremes. So if you™re expecting (or not expecting, as is usually the case) 4 feet of snow followed by hot temperatures, this is the reason it is the preferred wood for outdoor furniture. Teak wood furniture when exposed to the outdoors, will form a silver-gray patina. This process will take approximately nine months, depending on the amount of sunlight and rain exposure. During the weathering process, you may notice some splitting or small cracks that appear in the wood. This is perfectly natural, as wood expands and contracts slightly when left outdoors. These cracks are cosmetic only and in no way affect the structural integrity of the furniture. Small cracks and hairline wood expansions are not covered by warranty and are completely normal in the aging process of teak wood that is outdoors and aging naturally. Grade-a teak vs. Reclaimed teak “ the difference is in the details Grade-a teak is unblemished, cleanest, and most stable, and is relatively more expensive. It™s like a brand new car, right off the lot, but without the new car smell. But do you remember your first car? It had a few imperfections and some blemishes that added to its character, but Dad made sure it ran great and you™ll never forget it. You may wish you still had that car. With reclaimed teak, you can still have it all and it will last a lifetime too! Reclaimed teak has excellent endurance with minor blemishes like grooves, knots, splices, and other rustic features. Just like the additions you made to your rear-view mirror, these rustic features are intentional but do not detract from the sturdy, long-lasting quality of the furniture. Natural teak refers to the golden brown color of untreated teak which has a natural color because of its oils. A teak protector applied yearly on all teak surfaces of your furniture will help your furniture maintain its golden brown color. You will need to thoroughly clean your teak every year and apply the oil carefully following the directions on the package. Reclaimed teak for our reclaimed teak collection that features the antique gray finish, the factory applied finish will last one or two seasons. The finish will either continue to age or may completely wear away depending on weather conditions. You can recondition if the finish wears away by first cleaning the teak with Golden Care cleaner, allowing it to completely dry, and applying Golden Care Instant Gray to have the gray color back. While the application of instant gray will not achieve the original look of the factory-applied antique technique, it will help even out the color and give an instant look of gray. The other option for reconditioning the table is simply cleaning the table with Golden Care cleaner and allowing it to naturally gray, which will happen within a couple of weeks, We recommend applying Golden Care Teak Shield to prevent food stains (see Golden Care Teak Shield for more information). With either of the options above for applying a protector to the natural teak or applying a finish to the grayed teak, be sure to follow product directions carefully and protect the surface beneath the furniture with a tarp or ground cloth. Apply product at your own risk “ try out the product on the underside first and remember that we are not responsible if you are displeased with the end results. Are you confused about what choice to make? Here™s the easy answer! Our recommendation for either our natural or antique grayed teak is to do as your grandmother did and let your teak furniture weather naturally to a beautiful silvery gray. The time it takes to weather will vary with exposure to different climatic conditions, but it can happen within a 9-12 month period. A slight checking or lifting of the grain, even small cracks, may occur during this process - it is completely normal as the wood expands and contracts. Let your furniture age gracefully and witness the beautiful results that occur naturally and make your teak furniture virtually maintenance-free. Just want to clean your teak? For mild cleaning, simply wipe down with a soft cloth using warm water. For more moderate cleaning, nothing fancy is needed. Just break out the dish soap add one teaspoon to one quart of warm water and wipe down your teak with a soft cloth. Rinse using your garden hose with low pressure to remove any soap.
