This is the real deal, quality-made in Germany. I was happy to pay more for a nutcracker that wasn't a cheaply made Chinese fake. He's just beautiful and I'll be able to proudly display him every Christmas!

It’s beautiful, but missing a bit of gold paint on his hat. I just expected perfection, but he is still so cute!

I bought this for my daughter when she got the role of Clara in her dance studio's Nutcracker performance and it is perfect! Very high quality

Although I realize that the Nutcracker is a decorative piece, I bought it for a 4 year old who wanted a nutcracker that "would really crack nuts." It is beautifully made and survived in tact his wagging it everywhere and cracking any nut he could find. It may even survive long enough to become a treasure later!
