This is AMAZING! So I did a bunch of investigating online and was made to believe that finding a light kit to fit my Casablanca ceiling fan would be a challenge. I even contacted a lighting store and had them contact the manufacturer to find out which kits would fit with my ceiling fan. They came back with only like 5 options, all ugly and kind of old lady ornate. I ended up reluctantly picking the least unattractive for over 100 bucks. In the meantime while I was waiting for all this communication, I decided to buy this kit just kind of on a whim and hope. To my surprise, it totally works with my fan, was easy to install, looks way cooler, and was about 1/4 the price of the other one!!!! Score!

For those who are familiar with earlier Panama models where the light fixture fits more compactly onto the fan will be disappointed with this newer version. The light fixture on to the factory cap instead of replacing it. This increasing the overall height of the fan and light and making it look more like an after market modification. Cons: Bulky
