There were two issues with the table, one of which we could do a fix for but not the other. The screw in one leg was loose and thus would not make the leg tight so we put some glue in it and that worked. The other issue is on the top of the table there are a couple line marks going across in a couple spots that look like a tie down or such that were put on when the poly top coat was still wet and they show.

The table is a fine piece of furniture indeed... easy to assemble. However, if you are buying according to the catalogued picture, the actual checkered top is so dark it's almost impossible to see, rendering it almost useless to play chess or checkers.

Just love it. I'm going to hang a small chandelier, over the table. Still working on decorating. It is true that the glass holders are pretty useless. They do look like an ashtray. But the table is well made and sturdy. I purchased it with a huge discount. I don't think I would have paid almost $500, for it.

The table came with a crack and it’s not the quality I would’ve expected for the price.. shop around before buying
