Overall it's a nice piece for the price. My only complaint is one of the drawers has a bit of splintering on the inside lip and the drawer does not fit as flush as the other drawer

This is a quality product for the price. We already had our own chess pieces. The drawers on each side hold all the pieces perfectly. It appears to me from looking at it that the boards are inset with different woods rather than just painted with different stains. We really enjoy this table, would recommend.

The table was in perfect condition and was easy to assemble. It is a good size with plenty of room around the edges for setting aside playing pieces. Now I just need to find the right chairs!
