I bought the same feeder last year but unfortunately it was destroyed by a bear. It worked exactly as expected. My recent purchase is not quite the same as it doesn’t keep red squirrels from eating the seed. They are not heavy enough to totally close down the seed supply. The birds, however, are loving it.

Hard to find but best bird feeders on the market for feeding bird not squirrels. Bit expensive but pays for itself if you consider loss to squirrels. Shipped fast and arrived before scheduled delivery time. Would buy again

This is an excellent bird feeder. Squirrels will try but get discouraged. The birdseed stays dry in the rain and I get a beautiful variety of birds.
