First the Aventa and second the 300 series this new 500 series uses a heat pump and is much more effective than the prior models which used only a condenser. Really awesome upgrade as it's much more effective, uses less drying time, and does not heat up the surrounding area.

From the first load, I was impressed by how incredibly quiet it is—you can barely tell it’s running. It cleans clothes exceptionally well, even on heavily soiled loads, while still being gentle on fabrics. The spin cycle does an amazing job removing excess water, which noticeably cuts down on drying time. I also love the variety of wash cycles and how easy the controls are to use. Everything about this washer feels premium, from the build quality to its energy efficiency. If you’re looking for a washer that’s quiet, reliable, efficient, and delivers outstanding cleaning performance, the Bosch 500 Series is absolutely worth the investment. I highly recommend it and would buy it again without hesitation!

With the Bosch I got a 220 volt dryer that drys faster, The matching washer is so efficient I use about a tablespoon of concentrated laundry detergent. A complete wash/dry cycle is over an hour faster than my previous all-in-one machine. Less wrinkles than a washer/dryer combo unit is a huge plus also. Pros. Faster, more efficient, less chemicals, wrinkle free clothes. Con. Expensive to purchase. Pros out weigh the cons.

I get notifications on my phone when the cycle is done and it also lets me know if I'm using too much detergent. I only wish the space for clothes was a bit bigger proportionally to the whole machine so I didn't have to do so many loads of laundry.
