Occasional cleaning of the aluminum frames is recommended using a soft cloth or sponge and a mild detergent mixed with lukewarm water to avoid the buildup of salt and other potentially damaging deposits. Never use abrasive cleaners or brushes. To enhance and further protect the finish, a high-grade automotive paste wax can be applied to surfaces that are smooth.
